I had really given up on this one and had lost a sense of direction with it, so I just dunked this into a glaze that totally transformed it!! I couldn’t believe it turned blue 😂 it’s a great change from what it looked like (promise)💙🥶?

On this piece, I started out with just a slab and wanted to see what I could make out of it without adding any attachments. The approach was very similar to the fabric sculptures I used to make(still make?) but the feeling of the work is so different

This was a small study for a potentially larger piece. I’ve really been vibing with sculptures that appear to be growing out of the wall lately. I’m planning to enter this and other small studies in this year’s TINY show at the @art

This one really pushed me out of my comfort zone. I was working with shapes I don’t usually use, trying a lot of new things with underglazes, and planning for post fire additions like the leather cord. It was very planned out, but the kiln gods

My dog just tore this sculpture up 🫠 so lucky that I got pics of it yesterday beforehand. It was just a small, quick study, but I’m still very grumpy with her😭 she loves felted things apparently. I might be able to fix it up after work later
